English Awareness & Skill Test(EAST) - 2025

Particulars are given below:

  1. EAST to be held         :  31st August, 2025 (Sunday)
  2. Last date of receiving the list of students’ names      : 25th July , 2025
  3. Eligibility        :  Students from Class I to X under WBBSE, CBSE,
                            ICSE,WBBME,WB Pry. Edcn. Board, Visva Bharati &                             Other State Board.    
  4. Prescribed Examination Fee   :           Rs. 60/-  +
    Application Form :                              Rs. 10/-
  5. Possible date of result publication      :           First Week of January, 2026
  6. Best student & 10% candidates of each class will be awarded.
    (Below 25% marks holder will not be adjudged)
  7. Centre first (in two categories i.e. class I to V & VI to X) candidate will be awarded.
  8. First three position holders of each class will be awarded in the National level.
  9. Marks will be given to the students, section wise as mentioned in the syllabus. 
  10. Certificates will be issued to those students who will be able to secure above 40% marks.     

Grade Index
AA = Outstanding = 90 to 100
A+ = Excellent = 80 to 89
A = Very Good = 70 to 79
B+ = Good    = 60 to 69
B = Fair = 50 to 59
C = Consolation = 40 to 49
         


K. EAST will be held in two halves :

1.First Half         :     Class I to V 10 A.M. to 12 Noon.     

2.Second half     :     Class VI to X 1 P.M. to 3 P.M.
